St. Patrick's Day is a holiday that is heavily celebrated throughout the United States. Our own city of #Atlanta hosts various events of its own so that you can get dressed up in your green and join in on the celebrating!
Atlanta's St. Patrick's Day Parade
On the Saturday of St. Patrick's Day Weekend (March 16th) you can attend one of the largest parades hosted in the city. It's a great option for a FREE family outing. The kids can admire the large floats and everyone can enjoy music, dancers, drill teams, and more. The parade kicks off at noon on Peachtree Street. St. Patrick's Day Parade 5K
The 5th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade 5K starts before the official parade. This race will start and finish at Colony Square and is a great way to spend your St. Patty's Saturday. For registration, click here.
Shamrock n' Roll Road Race
Another great 5k option is this road race held at Atlantic Station. This race welcomes runners (and walkers) of all ages. You can even bring your pup! For more information, read here.
St. Paddy O'Pedal Ride
Join the Olde Blind Dog Cycling Club for their 3rd annual St. Paddy O' Pedal Charity Bike Ride benefiting the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Held in Milton, GA on March 24th, this event is a family fun opportunity to make a different in the community. All funds raised go towards the cause. For more information and to register, click here.
Smyrna St. Patrick's Day Festival
The 16th annual Smyrna St. Patrick's Day Festival is held on March 16th and 17th at the Market Village. This is a family friendly event where you can enjoy live music and taste great food. Tickets are only $8 per day or $14 for both days. Kids 13 and under are free! For tickets, click here.
