Heading to #Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII? Or maybe you're a local and your celebrating the big game being in your city for the first time in 19 years! Either way, we want everyone to stay safe while they are having fun. Most of the Super Bowl events are downtown at what they are calling the Super Bowl campus, which includes Centennial Olympic Park, State Farm Arena, The Georgia World Congress Center, and of course Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The most important to thing to know and remember from now until the conclusion of the game on February 3rd is that traffic is going to be way heavier than normal. Road closures began on January 21st in preparation for the events and closures are said to remain in place until February 8th. If you are planning to enter the city anytime during the week of the game, the use of Marta is heavily encouraged. Additionally, rideshare is a great option. The city has designated special drop off and pick up locations surrounding the Super Bowl campus. You can find those specific spots here.
If you choose rideshare, be sure to take advantage of these great deals:
50% off Lyft rides to MARTA Stations starting January 28th at midnight through February 4th at 4 AM. Use code SUPERMARTA in your Lyft app. Note: This discount does not include trips to or from the airport.
If you are a Delta SkyMiles member, you can earn five miles for every $1 you spend with Lyft February 1-3. Learn more here.
